My Gear!

I use quite a few different "Toys". My main guitar is now a 2006 Mullin. (9 & 8) I just got this guitar and love it...LOOVE IT!!!! It was Junior Knights guitar originally. My other guitar a 1981 JCH. (9 & 8)These guitars were built like tanks and have tone to the bone. I also have a 1982 Dekley Universal 12. (8 & 5) This is the guitar I played for 11 years. In the 80s I wrote a book for the B6th side of this instrument called "Think B6th". About a year ago "Maggie" came into my life. It is an early 40s Magnatone Lyric Double 8 non pedal steel guitar. "Maggie is in excellent shape and I love playing her. My tunings on this guitar are Eb13 and C6. For amps I like the Evans RE200. 200 watts with an 10" speaker that really honks. I also use a 10" extension cabinet with it. It's not so much for Volume but it seems to give the mids a nice warm texture. I use a Peavey ProfexII. When I play with Lonnie Patterson I run straight to the board and it works great for that. My volume pedal? What else? HILTON! My 6 string is a Warmoth Strat copy. Other "toys" include a Johnson Dobro, an Alverez Fiddle, and other various stuff. If you have any questions about my gear or would like to tell me about your gear go for it!
